I was driving home from work yesterday (in my car, not on the bike) when I noticed a driver a couple of cars ahead of me behaving erratically. On one occasion when stopped at traffic lights the young driver leaned out of the door to remove a windscreen wiper. (It was drizzling, the car was an old banger.) He seemed to behave very erratically, for example not being sure which lane to drive in.
I thought to myself, give this character plenty of space. Sure enough, when arriving at a roundabout, he managed to clout the vehicle in front of him. Didn't see the actual collision, so no point in stopping, but just goes to show you need to be aware of strange antics from other road users.

yep, the other day coming to a roundabout on a 40mph urban DC in rh lane, had seen erratic behaviour from car to the left of me. Said to Bert Jnr sitting next to me that we would let the car go in front as it was going to go straight at the roundabout and not follow the lanes. And yep it did! Car-body-language.
