Does anyone here know if you can drive a bus if you only have vision in one eye?

I've got perfect vision in my left eye, but only partial vision in my right. The DVLA know about this and said I was OK to drive a car a couple of years ago when I passed my test. Will I be able to drive a bus carrying passengers (double deckers etc)? I've checked the DVLA website but can't find any info. At the moment I only have a car licence.

Thanks
DJPT.

I think its a legal requirement that you HAVE impaired vision to be a bus driver, also that you are of unsure parentage.
A friend told me this and judging from the comments i`v heard shouted at bus drivers its probably correct.
