Hi everyone,

As a youngster, I thought it might be cool to make a short, very brief video about my experience with advanced driving. So here it is!

I'd really appreciate anyone checking it out or giving me ideas for future videos. I could talk about Masters maybe but not sure if people are that interested haha!

Thanks for reading/watching and have a good night,
Amy smile

P.S I'm still learning video editing (you can probably tell!) I'm no reg local!

You're an ideal candidate for the HPC Young Drivers Day - see the thread about it.

Hi Akakindz,

What a brilliant video!

Having done Masters, HPC is the next step and the next level. HPC Young Drivers Day is a definite must for someone like you. You’ll find a group of enthusiastic advanced drivers who are passionate about driving and want to encourage younger drivers like yourself.

I understand, and sympathise with, your frustration regarding Neanderthal males who know nothing about advanced driving or the abilities of female drivers. At the moment I don’t know who will be co-driving on the Young Drivers Day but the probability is that there will be a number of exceptionally talented female drivers that you can co-drive with.

Good luck, and come back here and let us know how you get on.

Edited to add: I note that akirk mentions in his thread that the HPC Young Drivers Day is a great introduction to advanced driving, which it is, but it also caters for young experienced qualified advanced drivers like yourself.

The training is good, and the instructors are superb. The speeds can be a little high, with more emphasis on overtaking than the car side of IAM/RoSPA. (Motorcycling is different, IME.) I recommend taking HPC at your own pace, maintaining comfortable margins for error, and ensuring safety remains the top priority (not making progress).
