Passed white line on GREEN but reversed back due to yellow j
Discussion
Sorry not sure if I posted this in the right place! I was near hanger Lane Station in London yesterday. And I passed the white line at Green, however there was a yellow box so there was no space for me to go and I didn't proceed. Then as the light was turning red, I reversed back slightly to be clear of the yellow box and maybe my rear wheel touched the white line at the traffic light. So I'm worried this may have triggered the sensor as 'passing the light red' although I didn't
There was a lot of traffic and I wasn't the only one who waited after the white line but I think I'm the only one who stupidly reversed
Any advice as to whether I may received a pcn?

Think you'll be fine.
From memory some/most are speed sensitive, so you can "creep" through a red for emergency vehicles coming through.
Passing through a red light whether creeping or not is still an offence regardless as to whether your are letting an emergency vehicle pass. It's a different matter if your are in fact directed to go through a red light by a Police officer. KFP,Very aware of this. Whilst never Roads Policing I have been through many (literally hundreds...thousands maybe) a red light, with and with out public warning equipment over the years and I have never had a NIP come through for a red light. I managed a teams fleet of covert vehicles as an extra duty to my day to day role and rarely were the NIPs for red lights. Bus lanes and speeding were a daily occurrence though.
If it is as the OP suggest then he didn't pass through a red light, he went through on green. The mistake was entering a yellow box junction when the exit wasn't clear.
I get me saying "so you can creep through" could have been misleading.
