My leather driving mittens get crossed up when exiting roundabouts on full opposite lock (my mum put string through my blazer so I wouldn't lose them on the school bus, she does not know I have bought an Mx5).

This section of the forum is shocking, maybe it should be renamed the Allegro VanDen Plas section (or Beige Triumph Acclaim section for the younger wheel shufflers).

Yes, you are not entirely incorrect and also amusing. Well, judging by some of the recent posts it could be renamed either the Ford Orion forum (given the number of people who believed in such a lemon) or the Hummer forum, reflecting the driving attitudes of some :-)

If you're aiming it at me then in that case I'll name it the AC Cobra forum, and I'll bite.

The string backs were always useful for de-misting the windshield.
