The two main AD organisations are the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) and RoADAR (Rospa Advanced Riders and Drivers). Both use volunteer observers/tutors and follow the principles taught in Roadcraft.

If you're interested in improving your driving, a good start would be buying yourself a copy of Roadcraft, and getting on one of the inexpensive courses I mention. Otherwise, sign up on ADUK and come along to one of the free driving days that take place throughout the year.

I was 18 when i did my IAM. I loved it and when i get some free time i want to try ROSPA.

I suspect you will love it too! Opens up a whole new way of driving.

Do your local police offer something like Car Kraft? There's also the HPC young driver day (see other thread in this forum), but I think you have just missed that.
