Help!

I have inbuilt PCM satnav in my porker. Tried a road angel, but was shite and blew up after 7 days. Not that keen on cluttering the dash when there is a perfectly good screen built in already.

Is there a scamera database patch for the PCM2??

I've been looking for this for a while.. I'm going to an event at the OPC in London this week so I'll ask the salespeople what the score is. When I bought my car last year, they hinted that the next releases for the PCMS would more than likely have blackspot data bundled into the database. It would be great if it does..

Brilliant.
Let me know!!

My only concern reading about PCM upgrades is that this will require a complete system upgrade at around 400 quid.
However, if it could be patched (and I don't see why not) would be up for paying going rate for a scamera detector for it...

Could you ask whether a camera detector is an option on the PCM2 (becker system) too?

Drew a blank from Porsche I'm afraid. They were keen to remind me that any tampering with the MOST system would affect warranties blah, blah.. They think that in the future they will bring out IPOD connectivity and possibly the next iteration of the DB may contain hotspots.. no plans to allow integration of any third party detectors etc..
