Any thoughts of which is the best unit out of these two ? I have seen the 510 but the can fiind no one in the Medway area of Kent who has a Indago in stock ?

If the Indago is such a great unit I would have thought that the Indago or come to that the Syrius would be in stock.

Also for Indago users who have either seen oe used the Syrius which on eis the best and for what reasons.

I have an Indago and its superb, so much so that when the Syrius came out I bought one as I really liked the look of the widescreen unit but was very unimpressed with the 'plastic' build of the Syrius so eBay'd it and kept the Indago which I would not swap for anything out there at the moment!

I'd go for the Indago over the TomTom because the Speed Camera database is the most importaint feature for me and the Snooper Enigma database is said to be the best out there, Its certainly never given me any false alarms or missed any cameras or mobile sites so thats worth the money alone,

Thanks I am swayed towards the Indago especially for the price I have recently seen at £ 195.00 brand new and boxed ! Cheaper than the 510 and as you say with the Enigma Database:

tomtom 510 is superb

excellent traffic camera database, road traffic functionality and excellent euro mapping

phone and ipod integration is very useful with phone ban coming up, you can see who is calling you from the display and make calls

to add its also got exceptional battery life which means it will sit on your window for a few hours at a time without the need for trailing wires

As regards the Tom Tom Speed Camera operation are the warnings not directional ? i.e that you are alerted to cameras operating on the opposite side of the Road ? If thats the case then I suppose that this type of operation is better than no warning but personally i would find that annoying, However I do like the graphics of the Tom Tom and of course as you say the bluetooth phone connection is a real bonus, these are small points for me as I am really concentrating on the any unit purely from a Sat Nav and Safety camera features.

Try Ebay,

there have been new units up for £195.00 but they all went pretty quickly, however I did not buy one from there due to the fact that I wanted to have a look before I jumped in and that type of sale would not allow that. I ended up buying from a dealer at £299.00 which not only allowed me the chance to fully inspect the unit but also to compare it with other units the Snooper Syrius as well.

At the end the Indago was a clear winner for me even at £299.00
