Tom Tom Map of the USA ?

I may be going to Minneapolis in June this year (& travelling out to Wisconsin) & I was thinking about getting a map for my Tom Tom. Has anyone on here used their Tom Tom in USA ? Better still does anyone have a copy of the maps?

I have tom tom maps of USA but for a PDA not sure if they work on anything else.

My Tom Tom is also on a pda ? I am using navigator 5 on an ipaq so sounds good?
(Any chance of a disc copy to see if it would work before buying )
