There´s a moderately intelligent review of portable Sat Navs for Classic Cars in the March 2007 edition of Classic & Sports Car magazine which concludes by recommending TomTom One Europe as a "Best Product". It uses various test criteria to come to this conclusion but fails to make any mention of whether the system (or in fact any other included in the test - & there are 7) can actually be seen in a convertible when the top is down & the sun is shineing on the screen. This for an owner of a convertible is absolutely manadatory yet there is no reference to it in this or any other tests. I find this omission amazing. Is it simply that the technology is not there or that reviewers dont own soft tops.
