Itineries in TT One
Discussion
Hi all,
In my old satnav, a pda using TT3 i think, I am able to make and save itineries, and I can name these itineries when I save them. I find this very useful when planning long trips, and indeed actually use the satnav more than say, autoroute express because the journey timings given by Tom Tom are far more realistic. I enjoy plotting long routes on the satnav when I have time to kill. The only strange thing about it is that I can only delete saved itineries via my PC.
I know TT One has an itinery facility, but can I name and save them for future use like I can with my old system?
BTW, it seems a few outlets, PC world, Halfords etc are selling TT one Europe for £200. They claim on their websites that they are the latest version. Is this true?

I bought my TT1 on Christmas Eve so I'm still learning it how it works, but it appears that you can only save one itinerary at a time. I spent ages putting a route into it for Le Mans, and today went out for a small hoon in Oxfordshire, so I thought I'd put the route in as an itinerary, but I had to delete the Le Mans one before it would let me plan todays. Hopefully, I'm wrong and you can programme more than one itinerary at a time.

aarghh, that would be annoying if you can only save one itinery. On my version, i press the screen and hold (with the pda's stylus jobby)and a multi-choice box opens, if I select Save a 'Save As' dialogue box opens up. The Name is highlighted, and if I change the name the itinery is saved as another seperate itinery.

That sounds familiar! Maybe I don't have to delete the old one??
