Road Angel 7000 - anyone got any experience?
Discussion
Hi all,
looking to get a sat nav with speed camera warnings and have tried the RA 6000 (now £170) which was ok and wondered whether the 7000 (now £250)was a significant improvement (specifically in terms of load up time and general ease of use)?
Also, the Tom Tom One Europe (now £200) with a safety camera DB uploaded seems to be an option.
Any opinions appreciated,
Chris

Hi - I took delivery of a brand new Snooper Indago yesterday - £320. Downloaded the cameras from their Enigma database (supposed to be the best) and off I went. I am absolutely delighted with it - navigation is spot on (even where I live which is in the middle of no-where!) and the camera alerts are deadly accurate (including one that has just gone up). Locks onto satellites within 10 seconds and never loses them.
The unit itself is pure class and sits perfectly velcroed to a Brodit pro mount (instead of the nasty windscreen sucker thing). I can't recommend it highly enough... and most Indago owners and reviewers agree. HOWEVER, do not be tempted by the newer cheaper Syrius widescreen jobby - deficient in a number of areas - see post of about a week ago titled 'Syrius'.
