best cheap system? and where from?

my mother in law wants a sat-nav system, whats the cheapest one that works well? carfone warehouse have the garmin i3 for £100 is that about the best i can expect to get? or does some1 know of a better deal?

You wont get one for less than that. The Garmin i3's are apparently pretty good for the money too, so probably worth a shot.
Im more familiar with the Tomtom ones myself, but you wont find any of those for much under £200.

My folks just bought me a Garmin I3, and I can't really fault it.

For the money its superb, and its smaller enough to fit nicely on my dashboard without obstructing my view.

If you wanted cheaper than that Amazon were selling the Garmin I2 for £80 IIRC, this is the B&W version of the I3.

Or try Ebay?
