Road Angel Navigator

Just wondering if anyone knew where the Road Angel Navigator stored it's update data and speed camera locations etc.

Say for instance I had 2 units, would I somehow be able to run them both off 1 subscription ??

The web interface must query the unit for serial number before allowing updates as I have tried to update an un registered device and surprise surprise it doesn't work.

I know it's only £5 a month or something, but after shelling out £600 for the unit originally then I could do with not having to pay out £60 extra a year.

AFAIK you cant get updates to two units from 1 subscription. The update proceedure certainly seems to know if that unit has a current sub.

Obviously the unit will still work, it just wont have the latest information

Try giving them a call and negotiate something.

I think it was RoadAngel who were offering an "upgrade" package to the 1st Navigator and I'd get to keep the RA2 I already had, I questioned them on the subs for running two devices and I'm sure they offered me a discount.
