Seems not to be much in it, other than about £50 quid. Have seen the TomTom software in action and liked it, but is the Garmin worth the extra £50 - Discus.....

Had a Nuvi 300 a couple of months ago but found that the maps were out of date and tried to take me down streets that had been blocked off for years. So I sent it back. Recently bought a Tom Tom 1 V2 and really pleased with it, easier to use and more confident with the directions. The battery life is not as good as the Nuvi, 2 hours compared to 4-5 of the Nuvi. Paid a really good price for it as well, £160. Don't see the point in paying for an expensive unit.
