Hi all,

I am taking part in the staples to naples banger rally, leaving England early Thursday morning.
I have hired a Tom Tom 700 series sat nav unit for this event, unfortunately the hire company have only shipped it with a car charger, not the data lead and mains adaptor I need to be able to add the speed camera database.

Does anyone out there in PH land have a 700 series or compatible lead that I could use?
I'm more than willing to pay for the update subscription / beer

Thanks in advance

Derek

Data lead is the same as any usb cable. I use the one from my digital camera. Mains adaptor is the same as a Sony PSP.

if that helps....

Data lead sorted then.

PSP power lead may be an issue, not sure I know anyone with one of those.

Do I need any software installed on my computer or not?

No to the software. It'll just appear as a mass storage device, and you can drag 'n' drop the scamera database in to the correct folder on the TomTom.

rofl true, true

Unfortunately I'm time poor at the moment and it's quicker to raid the PH knowledgebank than it is to do my own research.
