Axim X51v Tom Tom Wired - "No GPS Device"

I have a new X51v with Tom Tom 5 on it. I have a wired Tom Tom receiver but they won't play ball. No matter what I do the PDA says "No GPS Device".

I know that the cradle and receiver are fine as I have tested it with an Axim X50v with all being well so it must be something to do with the PDA.

Does it have a different connector to the X50v or is the Windows software different? I noticed that in Settings there is a section for GPS on the X51v but not on the X50v. Do I need to do anything here?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
