I was just about to buy a Tom Tom 1 at PC world for £199 however I have seen a Mio P350 PDA with TT software for £233 and thought why not get the use of a PDA as well, any opinions? Anyone used a P350? I'm told its a newish model.

Chris.

A 256 MB card is all you'll need for the Great Britain map, plenty of people selling tom tom navigator on Ebay aswell.

thanks Merckx

Yes i like the all in one capability, no external antennas etc. So how easy is it to get TT software on ebay? How much will I save? Its about £60 ontop of the £165 for TT 5 software if I buy the package.

Also how is the speaker volume and clarity? I take my roof off quite a bit.

I have a Mio 168 using Co-Pilot Live & its absolute rubbish. On my Jaguar E-Type Roadster the sun reflecting on the screen makes it totally unreadable, the instructions are so quiet that you cant hear anything & on recharging the unit the teeth on the unit broke off thus rendering the unit unsuable. I then waited 3 months for a replacement before the retailer gave up on Mio repairing the unit & supplied me with a further unit. You´d have to pay me before I used another Mio.

I've also got a Mio 168 and found it excellent. I've had no trouble reading the screen or hearing the instructions (In fact I don't even have the volume on maximum.) and it's been totally robust and reliable. (Even though I've dropped it twice!)
