12v power lead

Anyone know if you can get a power lead for a garmin nuvi 310 which can be wired direct to the car rather than a cigarette adopter?

Lop the end off of a spare & just hardwire it!

I Suppose it should be fused, I thought it would be that easy but just checking !!!

DO NOT just cut the end off !" you may find the voltage is dropped to 5v , by doing that you will just fry the unit , Get an accesory socket and wire it in to an ignition source , then run the lead behind the dash to that .
