Road Angel Navigator 6000
Discussion
I got one of these a week ago - tiny compared to our Tom Tom Go 500 ! First impressions good in respect of Speed camera stuff; good display of speed and good warning, etc. which can be totally separate to the Navigation side.
Sat Nav side of unit OK but not so impressive - few false directions; i.e map says straight on but voice says go left (!). This sort of thing has happened a few times. We never had this with the Tom Tom. Poor choice of route maybe but never the completely wrong way!
Battery life supposed to me 8 hours but nowhere near it on mine.
If directions are your main thing get a Tom Tom, if Speed camera warnings are more important get this .... not bad and I don't regret buying it but it certainly has it's limitations.
I got ours by trading in my 'old' RA 2 for £100 thereby making this a relatively affordable £150.
