Product Renewal cycles

I'm aware that Tom Tom have just updated their range (to x10) however what are the usual cycles for the other major players? I am especially interested in Indigo as I would love one of their units but for the fact that the don't seem to have the traffic updates and re-route function which seems to be a useful addition to any Sat Nav system.
