Hi iv been reading on here about the problems with the 910 and 710 that some people seem to be getting??..
However, since i bought my tomtom 510 4 weeks ago i have used it most days without any problems at all!
This is the best satnav iv used and im really happy with it, best 350 iv ever spent!!!

I agree, its a fantastic bit o' kit. We've had ours for a few weaks now and its great.

1 problem that has shown up today, is a slightly dodgy connection on the car cradle, which results in poor charging.
I Havn't decided yet whether to take it back or fix it myself yet.

The cradle connection seems to be the main problem - my brother's got one and for some reason his unit turns itself off when the connection to the mains is broken (even when it's got plenty of battery life)

It's a setting... my "Classic" does it following a firmware update...

I bought my 910 for 450 as I showed the shop I got it from Net prices and they matched it. Also very happy with it know I got used to it

totally agree, although never had one before so can't compare to others.

It has made driving so much more relaxing, not having to keep an eye on the map, we can actually enjoy the drive better

It took a little while to trust Tom though, when we first used it, it seemed to be taking us in directions that seemed totally wrong, but always got us there and in good time, so now we put our total faith in it
