Currently being advertised via Halfords for £190, where the RRP is £300.

We used one this weekend and it seemed fairly good. Does anyone on here run one? How do they fair?

No, but also considering them, so....

Costco have the 520 at about £150 and the 550 (with the Traffic Master) at about £350.....

I use one. It's not bad, doesn't do full postcode searches and can get a bit confused with multi lane junctions (telling me to keep right 5 times then saying turn left just before the junction, needing to cross 4 lanes). Other than that it's a good bit of kit, speaker's a bit tinny but loud enough for most.

Probably preclude a TVR then?

You'll hear it, but only so much as to alert you to look at the display for what it's trying to say. I can hear it just about OK in the BMW at 60ish with no interior or sound deadening and the stereo on full.

The one we used going down south was a bit dyslexic with its junctions we thought but it turned out it was a new bypass only just opened.

I think it may have been a 520 now I look at the Halfords site, it definately had full postcode search on it.

I have the 510 and it does have it's own quirks like not listing a postcode that I know exists, but you can get around it by selecting the road itself. I have had mine for about 12 months and it has been fine, just don't have the radio on too loud
