Hi there! I am considering one of these Sat Nav systems (thinking about the Snooper Indago) but a lot of them have been nicked round our way lately. They seem to be looking at whether there is a suction cup mark on the windscreen.

Therefore I want to find an alternative way to mount mine. One where I can take it away completely leaving no trace. Any ideas?

cheers
Mark

maybe I am wrong but in France for the Snooper Indago there is a different mount that seems not to be available here in UK

have a look under accessories in snooper.fr

not sure though but... have a go

There is an accessory available for the Garmin Nuvi which has a 'mobile' friction mount.....essentially it just sits on the dash. Not sure if it will fit your device or if it can be easily adapated though.
I've also seen mounts that slide down the side of the radio slot like those used for mobile phones.
Regards,
Fred.

Having asked Snooper directly, they have suggested a company called brodit who do mount specific to cars. Unfortunately the one they do for an Audi TT (my car) fits on the knee bolster, I already have a bluetooth hands-free phone screen on there so they couldn't help!

You ever thought about a cloth and wiping away the ring from the windscreen?
