Do any of the PDA or Tom Tom type nav units have the facility to output the video to a large (7" diameter) screen?

I can't see the tom tom doing it, it's touch screen, same goes for most other satnav systems

I have an XDAII and run TomTom via a bluetooth GPS. You can get a jacket for it (£90) which allows you to output to a VGA screen/monitor/projector. Output only though, so you'll still have to use the screen for input. The XDAII is quite old now, so some newer PDA's might have input/output facilities.

Not aware of any TomTom units having this sort of feature

The largest screen I've found is this one - www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod2630.html - but it's not a touch screen. I doubt whether you'd need anything bigger than that. I don't think it would be worth trying to rig up a separate screen in car...
