Has anyone used a Fuzion as a GPS Navigator?

Hi, Just tried to use the output of my MicroFuzion GPS detector to drive the Autoroute Nav software on my Laptop PC but failed. The Garmin GPS works fine but I've failed to setup the Fuzion. I'm using the standard interface cable. I have been in contact with MicroFuzion and they believe it should work.
Has anyone out there succeeded?
