Dirt cheap satnav

PC World currently doing the iPaq RZ1710 with mounting cradle, 128MB SD card, extra external GPS Rx and (not too good) Mitchelin GPS software UK & Ireland for £99. Not the best by far but what a bargain. Software is a bit out of date but I am going to see if the Mitchelin site has freebie updates. Anyone know if other packages would work on it?
I did not get it online, just went into the Norwich shop and it was on display. Full model details are iPAQ rz1710 Navigator. Just had a look on the website, no mention of it. The receipt lists it as HEWLETPACK IPAQ 1710 NVIGTOR £99.00 1 * 0000642866 @ £99.00 but searching on these brought up no results.
Having tried the software, I am looking for a version of Tom Tom which would run on it. Out of date is an understatement. I'm going to try the free update from ViaMichelin and will tell you if it is any better. On the good side though it is touch screen.

At £99 you jest sir, round here they had all gone within 2 days, one of the guys at PCW checked the availability of the stores within 40 miles and I got the Dixons at Scunthorpe to hold the last boxed unit for me whilst I drove over there that afternoon. The HPrz1710 unit was an excellent buy with a kirrio GPS suction mount and additional GPS receiver plus UK maps on SD card. The via Michelin software is a bit basic but I've downloaded the Scam Database from www.pocketgpsworld.com - £2 for a 1month subscription and 1 download or £19 for the year and unlimited downloads an excellent site for all sat nav issues.
So sorry to rub it in but you missed an excellent bargain

I got a cheapo version of TomTom (Ver 3) and the GPS driver from version 5 and it works a treat, only problem is that it does not use the speaker in the mount, just the one in the Ipaq. Total outlay £129 for a great intro to GPS. If PC World repeat this offer I would rip their arms off.
