Any suggestions on a satnav?
I don`t need speed camera info.
Prefer no subscriptions etc.
I just need to go from A to B in UK and Europe.
Cheaper is better but obviously would prefer not being directed via Bulgaria to go to the local shop !!!

Thanks for the reply Peter.
I`ve been trying to find the right one - what a f####ng minefield.
Maybe one of you guys can advise.
Budget 150 quid(200 at a pinch)
Postcode-postcode.
All-in-one unit, simple to use.
No subscriptions (Bluetooth?? is that something to do with UK mobile phones??)
Plug in and go.
Connectable to PC for updated maps??
UK and Europe maps.
Mp3, photo storage, camera sites, tea making facilities not needed !!

I would appreciate any ideas/recomendations.

hi m8
i got the tomtom one a few weeks ago. it was £240 from currys but i am thrilled with it. i also did a lot of research before buying and it came highly recommended and i can see why.
if you can go the extra £40 i'd go for it.

Thanks for the replies guys but at 224 quid plus about 60 quid for the Benelux map card, that takes my original budget of 150 pounds up to almost 300 !!!
I can`t justify the expense for the amount I need to use it.
