The CD in the Becker SatNav in my Disco is now three years old, so starting to show its age in some places...

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy an update? The dealer wants £90 which seems a bit steep considering CDs cost about 2p and a road atlas is a tenner.

The old chesnut that a CD only costs 2p.
The actual paper in an atlas is probably worth less than 50p so why does the atlas cost a tenner? Because you're paying for the research and data not just the raw material - same with a mapping CD/DVD. However, I do agree that the prices of mapping CD/DVDs does seem rather high.

I thought maybe the smiley wasn't required. I was obviously wrong.

Do you have an actual answer to my question?

Are these V8 discs compatible with the Traffic Pro High Speed Units?

Thanks!
