Hi all,

Two questions:

1) Should the screen be ever so slightly on the left site.....like a subtle colour fade left to right.

2) I have downloaded the camera POI from PocketGPSworld. However it won't load using the Garming POI. Keeps telling me that the file format is not valid? I thought the download was now a pay service. Could that be the problem?

Thanks,

Adrian

Q1 - dont think mine does that.

All three I have look fine screen wise, might be worth getting a replacement.

PM me and I'll send you the CSV files I'm using just to be sure. If you've got the full camera list there may be some CSV files you're using for other devices which are in a different format.

Garmin's POILoader is very clever when loading data I've found (I've been writing an TomTom to Garmin POI converter), so I can't see that being the fault.

Screen was fine this morning. Just me seeing problems that are not there.

It downloads as a Zip file, have you extracted it first or are you effectively going "into" the zip file through the file explorer, this might be the problem.

Sorted.

Remove the heading "Longitude, Latitude, Name" and re-save. Loads fine after that.

Most strange, works fine on mine with those there.

Which version of POILoader are you using - I've got 2.0.2 here.

Whatever the latest one is. Garmin have mailed to say they are aware of a problem and have put a request into the US for a fix.

Just noticed yesterday that the latest release (v2.2.1) of POILoader was on the 23rd [Jan], and they'd made changes to cope with more file format, so perhaps have broken something. I've not had the chance to look at it yet myself so cannot confirm it though.

I've got v2.0.2 here which works fine, I can send you a copy if you can receive 7.5MB.
