Origin B2 Updates

Hi All
Recently bouught one off e-bay and when trying to update it via the yearly subs,i have found that the download cable supplied with it does not mate up to my new laptop,so i cant update it.
Anyone any ideas ? Technical stuff isnt my strong point.

I presume it came with a serial connector and your Laptop has USB's. You need a USB cable, possibly from people that supply Origin?

Or you can pick up a Serial to USB adapter from PC World and like like. Not sure of costs though, but it may be useful for other tasks in the future.
