Hi All,

I've got a iPAQ 5550 which i'm using to run TomTom5 however the voice commands and camera alerts are very quiet compared to my old iPAQ 3360 which I used to run TomTom3

Any suggestions?

I bought any amplified cradle for my Toshiba PDA, that worked a treat, even with roof off at 120+.

I think i'm going to get one of these from Argos and velco it to the transmission tunnel and run a cable under the dash.

Should do the job!

I have the same ipaq with the same problem, I bought a set of amplified speakers from Argos. In the end I got fed up of the ipaq and tomtom and bought a proper GPS.

My 2210 Ipaq was a bit on the quiet side - then I realised I had the master system volume at 50% - this seems to be a default. Start-settings-sounds&notifications then make sure its at about 75% (in my case). Open tomtom, press centre joystick button thingy to the right until max volume is shown in tomtom and its great. I can even hear it when driving roof down !!
