Hi,
With POI Speed camera warnings can you set it up so it shows you a picture of a speed camera and so say 'warning speed camera'?

Thanks,
William

I use POI Warner which warns you of the camera with a visual and verbal alert.

Have a look on www.pocketgps.co.uk for the database etc.

I've been using the speed cam db from that site through TT3 and TT5, so far it's never missed a camera location while on my travels.

Mine has bitmap images for

Mobile
Redlight
Fixed
Specs

camera sites, i deleted the continental files because i had no use for them, with regard to warnings, you could record your own voice if you wanted, i stuck with the default noises made by tom tom 5,

You can download voices for TT5 speed camera warnings which say

"Warning Gatso ahead 40mph zone" and "Warning Mobile camera ahead, 50mph zone" etc etc

Again these can be found on the Pocketgps site alond with instructions on how to install them.

Hi,
I have tried that but can not get it to work as I do not have any files called data.chk just data00.chk and data01.chk.

It is a pocket PC and Tomtom 5.0

Any ideas?
