Do I need TT3 installed??

Made a little mistake the other day - Obtained a copy of TT5 so deleted my copy of TT3 off my pda. Now I can't get TT5 to install/run/

I've just had a brain wave that I need TT3 installed before I can upgrade/ Is this right?

Now i've just got to find my TT3 disc! ARAGH! (I'm down at uni and i'm sure the disc it at my parents)

No need to install TT3.0 . My PDA battery went flat and wiped the lot. Just re-installed the TomTom app. My maps, PIO's, voices and favourites were saved on the memory card. It's a two minute job

Ok i'll give it another go.

Am I correct in thinking that the maps need to go on the MC and the app needs go on the PDA. On my old PDA I ran everything off the memory card.

I think there are two versions of tomtom, one with start.exe or and one with setup.exe. One being for pocket pc, and the other for windows ce. If you get the wrong one, it wont work.
