tom tom 700 prob

Had my tom tom 700 for 2 months no probs untill last week went out on the ducati using battery mode.Decided to save battery and switched off would not start up only drum solo and tom tom logo.Phoned maplin swopped it for a new one said it had a fault but no explanation on fault.I have an idear that if you run it to low on battery it forgets every thing, tried rebooting and connecting to pc but would not recognise it as a divice.This did happen in france last month but the reboot worked, other than that it is brilliant got me to my mums in france never been before 880 miles only 70yards out. Any one elce had problems also the speed cam softwear is good.

Try a reset using a paperclip and the little hole at the back.

Like i said tried a reboot.
