GPS / Inforad antenna
Discussion
Hi, looking to get an antenna for my Inforad (my Garmin GPS V has never had any problems locating satellites) and saw this :

It talks about magnetic mounts, but in the picture I can only see a flat square - is there one of those little aerials that goes opposite it on the outside of the glass if you see what I mean? It's not pictured.
Or does that square thing just go on the bodywork interior somewhere?

For the money I think the Inforad is brilliant. Through an unheated Focus windscreen it usually picks up a GPS position in a few minutes after switch-on. I was going to relegate mine when I bought a Navman but even after downloading the scamera data (not included) the Navman only gives a respectful chime when the offending box comes into sight. The Inforad nearly jumps off the dash if you are over the local limit. Has served me well to date. There are a few false positives around though and I don't like the PC software.
