Evening all
Apologies if this has been asked before.
I've got an F22 M240i and looking to upgrade the standard hi-fi - speakers and possibly amp.
Any experience or recommendations for anywhere in the Cheshire region?
Many thanks

I used to use Warrington Car Audio - not had anything from them in about 10 years now though.

Think car audio shops are becoming few and far between now as standard or factory upgraded car audio is of a good quality.

Remember some cars back in the day being sold without any radio / speakers!

Whats currently in yours? If its the normal / standard audio, some of the BMW options are very good - I fitted a HK amp / speakers and then had them coded in one of my previous BMWs, difference was night and day.

Many thanks for your reply, I'll take a look.
I've got the standard set up in my car, not HK and no door pillar tweeters etc. It's not as bad as thought it would be but I think could be much better.
A little further away, Ilkey Car Audio and Cambridge Car Audio are options as they have specific packages for BMWs. Be good to know if anyone has used either of them.

Many thanks for your recommendation.
Just collected my car having replaced the front door speakers, added some sound proofing and installed tweeters at the bottom of the A pillars.
Haven't driven too far yet, despite a relatively simple and inexpensive job, the sound has improved dramatically.
Macclesfield Car and Home Stereo highly recommended.
Thanks again.
