Having owned 3 150s I am used to electrical issues however a new electrical gremlin appeared recently. My car is a 2014 normally aspirated model with 55000 on the clock, When starting the car from cold, the start up was fine but screen did not light up and wipers not working. I switched off, tried again and all was well. Any thoughts please.

May be obvious...but have you checked the battery health?

Any electrical gremlins my XK had were down to being left and the battery draining, including the screen problem you had.
