Apple 30 pin to USB-C for in car music

Anyone found an adapter solution that works? I can see lots of them but then reviews say the audio doesn’t play, which is all I want it for.

Currently have adapter from 30pin to lightening, suppose I could go from 30pin or lightening, but seems even less likely with more adapters!

My old man uses one of these in his XKR and it seems to work pretty well for both music and calls:

30pin to Bluetooth and then connect anything you want!

No, Z4, so a bit older. The BT ones are hit and miss for the z4’s sadly. Not sure a £80 test is worth it.

I’ll whip out the CDRW drive!
