Well the external antenna for TTG appears to kill any DAB radio reception well and truely.

Everything works perfectly until I connect the external antenna, then DAB stops, disconnect the TTG's antenna and DAB works again :(

Anybody got both working in their cars?

I know a few people with TomTom's and don't know of a general problem.

Is there scope to move the antenna at all? Is the casing of the DAB well grounded?

Well it's be 100% proven to be the TTG external antenna killing of the DAB antenna in some kind of RF interference.

TomTom are denying this of course and saying it can't possible be their kit at fault.

The DAB install has been checked over by industry experts and found to as it should be.

DAB works perfectly (including with TTG powered up in the car) until the TTG is connected to it's external antenna when DAB reception ceases.

Anybody else have both DAB, TTG & external antenna?

TRY MOVING THE TTG GPS AWAY FROM DAB ANT AS GPS ANTENNAS WILL INTERFEAR WITH EACH OTHER DUE TO SIGNAL STRENGTH. THIS MAY BE THE CAUSE OF YOUR DAB ISSUE
