Ideas for In Car Video Set Up
Discussion
So, it's the Spa Classic next week - three track sessions booked - 20 odd cars per session, I think.
The car's a GT40 - 1025kg wet - 450 bhp +
The bucket list combination is - GT40 - Eau Rouge - Rain - and it's looking promising. smile
Can anyone give me some ideas about in car videoing?
There's the rear view window (take that with a pinch of salt) and the windscreen for mounting ideas.
The rear view window is vertical and around 4 inches high.
I'm interested in a GoPro 10 or 12 and want to know if anyone can suggest a specific mount.
The frame I'm looking for is that one where the driver's helmet is in shot and the dash and road ahead.
I'm also interested in the possibility of using an iPhone in the same way and if anyone has tried this successfully or not - and which specific mount was used.
Plus any specific mounts to attach a GoPro and or an iPhone to the windscreen.
I have been Googling quite a bit without much success and times beginning to run out . Not too concerned about budget because of the event experience.
Thanks - hope someone can help out.
