Hi

Following on from the sound deadening thread I am now in a situation to change speakers in the van.

For the time being im going to be keeping the original Headunit, so the option is to change the door speakers and tweeters.

im looking at
JBL 609s
BLAM
etc but if anyone ahas a better idea thats great. listen more often to talking as opposed to Music.

The size of the speakers are 165mm and ive got about 160 quid to spend.

Can i make my own speaker spacers out of ply or should i get the proper plastic ones?
