Mitac Mio with Co-Pilot 5
Discussion
Hi everyone, just seen the sat-nav section.
I read the post about the TomTom700, if you go to www.pocketgpsworld.com's forums you can find a whole bunch of people slagging off CoPilot 5 and bragging about how good TT700 is, well..
I have CoPilot 5 on a Mitac Mio with a built in GPS reciever. I've just taken it and the family through the channel tunnel, through, France, Belgium, into Holland. It navigated us flawlessly to the Crown Plaza right in the centre of Brugge, one-way streets and all. Onto Holland and we had to turn off because of a traffic jam at Antwerp, right through the centre and onto Amsterdam, got us right into the centre of Amsterdam, tram lines as well and right to the underground car park.
Unit works well on the dash in a Mondeo with a heated front screen and I have all the safety camera locations loaded in as well, even some in Holland.
It also works rather well across the UK, learn it's foibles and it's excellent. Not bad for £250ish, £300 cheaper than a TT700.
If anyones got one of these I'll be glad to help you set it up.
