Ghost immobiliser or similar required, North West.
Discussion
Hello all, I have a brand new car and I want an immobiliser fitted. Its an EV if that makes any difference.
I see there are two main contenders: Ghost 2 and Scorpion X.
Can anyone recommend either of those, is one better than the other?
Is there anything better in the world of pin entry systems?
Are there any horror stories to these immobilisers?
I don't want something connected with scotchloks, I'm looking for a professional job.
I'm in the Lancashire area, but happy to travel.

Apologies to hijack this thread - however would rather not start an identical thread. But I'm looking to fit a Ghost immobiliser to my Mustang, living in the Bucks area. Have been recommended these lot: https://ghostinstallations.co.uk/ - reviews looks ok but want to be sure.
I was wondering if anyone else knew of reputable fitters around the Bucks/Aylesbury/MK area?

Did you ever end up going with these guys? Strangely I'm in the same area and also looking to fit into a Mustang.I was wondering if anyone else knew of reputable fitters around the Bucks/Aylesbury/MK area?
I have a Scorpion S5 VTS tracker and immobiliser fitted to my car.
The pros are obliviously the tracker that’s linked to Scorpion 24/7. They’ve even called me when it once lost signal to make sure the car was ok. The immobiliser doesn’t need key presses like the Ghost.
The cons are somtimes my car struggles to start straight away when it hasn’t been used for a few days, like the ScorpionTrack is draining the car battery. After lengthy journey (probably when the battery is recharged) it starts normally. There’s also a £12 monthly subscription service and it makes no difference to car insurance (like they’re not interested)

These guys have fitted two ghosts to my cars. Great service. Cover UK wide I think.
