2007 Bentley Continental GT Aftermarket Bluetooth head unit
Discussion
Hi again everyone I have just bought the above car which does not seem to be Bluetooth connectable to my Samsung S21 mobile phone, it has the usual sat-nav, CD player and also a phone in the armrest from the stone age, I have been advised to either buy a piece of equipment called "The Grom" which apparently is a Bluetooth add on that will enable my existing equipment to function with the standard OEM kit installed or change the head unit for an aftermarket one with Bluetooth installed, I just want to be able to use my phone hands free without doing any major surgery at a reasonable price, I am pretty much in the dark with all this so if anyone is available to sort this out for me at a reasonable price please let me know also any other advice on the easiest and straightforward way to go about this would be very helpful, I am located in Medway Kent UK Many thanks Chris
The device made by Grom can be found here:
https://www.gromaudio.co.uk/products/bluetooth-han...
It replaces the CD changer in the glovebox and enables Bluetooth connection of your phone.
I fitted one to my CGT – ever so easily - and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
The alternative is the Bentley Head Unit Replacement (BenHUR) https://www.nav.tv/products/specialty-items/bentle... but that is ten times the price, and there have been some reports that it has a number of ‘foibles’.
