wireless charging
Discussion
hello ok I have a wireless setup in my car thanks to a wireless box so i can mount the phone in a holder with out a USB cable so I have been researching wireless charging phone mounts for my car.. but from what I've read so far you still have to use a USB cable to your USB port in the car so how can that be wireless? hope I am making sense.. so is there a way of not using a USB cable thank you
the same way my phone connect to my car there is no USB cable to my phone I use android autos and a little wireless box that's in my car so when I put it in the phone mount it as no USB cable in the way I do hope I am making sense sorry if not... am I allowed to upload a image of the wireless box
OP, wireless (Bluetooth) is not the same as actual power to charge your phone.
Wireless charging has to have a power supply. At home that is the charging pad (which is plugged in somewhere) or you draw power from another phone.
For a wireless charging dock in your car to work, the dock or pad must have a power supply.
Bluetooth is for data not power.
Hope that explains it to you mate.
