Replacement for carplay unit?

I inherited a car play (SCUMAXCON Car Stereo Radio RCD360 PRO3S RCD330 Wireless Carplay Android Auto OPS Bluetooth SD USB For Golf MK5 6 Passat Caddy Polo Tiguan (Backup Camera Deactived) https://amzn.eu/d/962uSUr) in my new secondhand Golf Plus.

The volume knob has stopped working and have been advised to upgrade it to a branded unit.

Any recommendations for replacements for a Golf?

The advice is good; get a nice branded one with a data processor.

Personally I’ve Sony XAV AX3005s in my Alfa and the OHs SLK; they’re superseded now but I think they’re great. Android Auto compatible too.

The rcd360 is a chinese copy of the oem rcd330 which ive had 2 of. They both had their little very minor faults but were good units altogether. I got mine from a shop which im sure said they get taken out when upgraded from factory in the asian market, big iirc. They do seem to be better than the rcd360 though on reading reviews which is understandable being oem.
