Toyota Alarm Problem

New to me 2013 Hilux

Noticed interior light wasn't working. In back of and used car key to flip off cover to remove bulb and inadvertently pressed key switch triggering alarm.

After this it did not respond to either key and central locking not operating. Car still starts. Had to remove -ve battery terminal to stop alarm.

I'm pretty sure it's not battery in keys as fault occurs with both and LED lights up on key when pressed. I'm wondering if I've somehow lost synchronisation with the keys.

Any thoughts?

Fixed it. Must have shorted lighting circuit when removing bulb. Same fuse for interior lights and remote so replaced and all good.
