The mechanical speedo in my 60 year old Riley isn't very accurate and I've thought about using a GPS alternative but all those I've found are too big. I'd like a small display that I can attach to the top of the dashboard, with digits about 20-25mm high - any ideas?

I use this in my Sprite:

Kind of matches the Smith's dials (if you squint!)

It never occurred to me that there might be a 52mm. I've just the place for it already cut into the dashboard, currently occupied by an voltmeter I've been intending to move - thanks!

Of course, we need photos once it's done!

Naturally - it'll be a winter wiring project (along with a few others) so there may be a bit of a wait.

I know the feeling:

I've since swapped the ammeter and GPS Speedo in terms of position - a little more legible.

You can see the GPS Sensor cable going behind the rear view mirror in the second pic.

I did think of that but I may have two sets of different size wheels/tyres.
