2014 Chrysler Ypsilon phone pairing

Hi

I wondered if anyone knew how to pair the phone to a
Ypsilon 1.2 Gold 2014

It has a phone and a speak button on the steering wheel but they seem to do nothing.
I've been through the inconveniently controlled menus on the dash etc
I can't find where it asks if you want to pair??

I believe all Ypsilons of this age have the feature but I just can't get there.....

Any help much appreciated.

It’s the same as an Alfa Romeo and Fiat blue & me so the chances are it’s broken if the steering wheels buttons are not functioning. Does the mileage flash? Because if it does it’s an indication of a can bus connection fault usually caused by the blue & me control unit.

Yes the mileage flashes with the ignition on and then starts flashing after the engine is started.

You can remove the blue & me control unit and have it repaired. But before doing that it’s worth doing a proxy alignment first, you might get lucky and reset itself. However that involves taking it to a garage who has the correct software.

Can cost between £100-£400 depending on who’s doing the work.

We cleared the fault code but it came back so the unit needs to be repaired ot you live without Bluetooth I guess.
